She has a background in accounting, purchasing, management, human resources and held a position of sales manager and Safety Specialist. Her specialty was Government, First Responders and Homeland Defense. She was a consultant to California POST for Homeland Defense after 911.

Joe was responsible for the creation of 100s of Occupational Health and Safety Program in the public and private sector's. Eleven years as an active duty Firefighter Paramedic with a county fire department. Then was medically retired as a line of duty service-disabled
